Many a times you need to rotate your computer screen to a different angle for better viewing or for mounting monitors in hard-to-reach places. You can rotate your computer display to 90 degree or 180 degree angle based on your convenience. This doesn’t affect your computer’s performance and can be helpful while reading documents or eBooks.

Below mentioned are different ways through which you can rotate your computer screen in Windows:

STEP 1: Right-click the desktop and select “Screen Resolution” or “Display Settings”. The option you will see depends on which version of Windows you are using. All of these will take you to a common window for Display/Screen settings.

STEP 2: Find the “Orientation” menu on the screen. Most versions of Microsoft Windows allow you to rotate the screen using this menu. By default, it would be adjusted to “Landscape” viewing.

Landscape: This is the default option for standard monitors.

Portrait: This will flip the screen to 90 degree to the right.

Landscape (Flipped): This will flip your computer display upside down.

Portrait (Flipped): This will rotate the screen 90 degree the opposite.
